Sub-Zero Preservation and Wolf Cooking have launched an intitiative to encourage sustainable living called “Grow a Green Kitchen”. According to their website “Even the largest Sub-Zero appliance uses less energy than a 100 Watt light bulb.”
Sub-Zero has been ranked sixth out of the top ten green brands by ImagePower Brands Survey, and manufacture all of their appliances in the USA. “Made in the USA” carries a substantial environmental & regional economic benefit compared to the impact of utilizing a global supply chain.
Sub-Zero has a growing line of Energy Star qualified appliances: 601R Refrigerator, 601RG Glass Door Refrigerator, 611 Over Under, 650 Over Under, 700BR Refrigerator Drawers, UC-24R Refrigerator, UC-24RO Outdoor Refrigerator. Wolf has an Energy Efficient Products line that use less energy than conventional appliances: Electric Cooktops, Induction Cooktops, L Series Electric Ovens & E Series Electric Ovens.
